The wine tasting at Adega do Vulcão takes place in the historic Solar Terra Brum, located in an area classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is undoubtedly the most emblematic location of the historical viticulture of Pico and, possibly, of the entire Azores archipelago.

The experience lasts one hour and includes a wine tasting, with Classic (4 wines) and Premium (7 wines) options, as well as a visit to the garden and some of the old production facilities of the Solar.

It is the ideal stop for visitors or hikers exploring the old vineyards of Criação Velha, offering a unique combination of history, landscape, and authentic flavors of Pico.

We use the most natural methods possible throughout the production process, to create authentic and exclusive wines with a strong sense of identity. We follow a natural winemaking method to preserve the quality and characteristics of the grapes. We only use endogenous yeasts and top quality equipment, cement tanks and untreated oak and clay barrels. Our goal is to create wines that are an authentic expression of the terroir.
