For four generations, Domaine G. Metz has cultivated 16 hectares of vines in the heart of Alsace, on exceptional terroirs and crus, notably the Grands Crus Muenchberg and Zotzenberg.
Committed to organic viticulture for over 10 years, we have been certified organic since the 2022 vintage. We favor traditional and natural methods, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, to reveal the full richness of our diverse terroirs.
The harvest is carried out exclusively by hand with rigorous sorting. Fermentation occurs using indigenous yeasts, and the wines are aged on their lees in century-old casks, barrels, or amphorae. The limited use of sulfites and other additives promotes the authentic expression of the grape varieties and the minerality of our terroirs.
