Fattoria San Leolino

In Londa, among the hills of the Tuscan Apennines, our family has been cultivating the land for
almost four hundred years. It is a place that tells ancient stories, made of fresh wind and
intense light, where the vines sink their roots into a living, clayey and calcareous earth.
We inherited this passion from our great aunt Misa, who with courage and
vision guided the farm through difficult times. Today we are here, together, to
take care of our vineyards and olive groves as one would with a precious garden,
listening to the land and respecting the rhythm of the seasons.
The Sangiovese, Merlot and Pinot Noir ripen slowly, lulled by the alternation of
hot days and cool nights. It is patient work, made of dirty hands and silent
waits, but the result repays every effort: fresh, elegant wines that speak of our
piece of the mountain and of what we are.
We do not seek to amaze, but to be sincere. Ours is a small and curated production, where each bottle carries with it the scent of the vineyard and the history of our
family. We use wood with respect, only to give roundness and depth, without covering the authentic voice of the grapes.
When we open a bottle, it is like reliving a memory, sharing a moment.
This is what we would like to convey to those who choose our wines: a piece of our land, of our commitment, of our history.
