Meet the team

In 1973, a group of friends who used to meet at a txoko (a traditional Spanish winery) to share their passion for food and wine decided to found a winery in Ollauri, La Rioja. Today, 50 years later, their friendship continues to create some of the region's most beloved wines. Alejandro Lopéz has been appointed technical manager of Bodegas Beronia. His name was featured among Decanter's Top 10 New Spanish Winemakers in 2018.
