The dynamic and modern character of Bodegas Javier San Pedro Ortega is not at odds with the uniqueness of our wines and vineyards.
The project arose from the idea of making wines from old Laguardia vineyards and that is why we say that La Taconera is the origin of everything: our unique vineyard, planted in 1920, is one of our 8 municipal wines. With vineyards that are more than 20 years old we make our Viuda Negra wines; We also have young vines with which we currently produce the Cueva de Lobos range of wines.
We are committed to the land, since the care we give to our vineyards today will be transferred to the wines we will enjoy in the future. We seek balance in the plant and interfere as little as possible with its natural process, eliminating the use of herbicides and systemic products.
