Celler Devinssi is a boutique winery in Gratallops, DOQ Priorat, Catalonia, Spain. Celler Devinssi was founded in 2000 by Josep Roca, a wine distributor, oenologist and wine enthusiast from Barcelona.
The name of the winery is easy to decipher. Celler = winery/cellar, Devinssi = De Vins, Sí = about wines, yes (in Catalan). It is also a play on words because it alludes to (Leonardo) Da Vinci (when pronounced in Catalan it sounds the same as Devinssi), which means that artisanal wine making is similar to art.
Celler Devinssi has been offering wine tastings for more than 20 years, most of them carried out in the vineyards, surrounded by nature and with views of the Priorat wine panorama. It has consistently won TripAdvisor's Travellers' Choice award since 2014 as the number one winery in Gratallops, the province of Tarragona (Costada Daurada) and Catalonia. It is one of the best-rated Spanish wineries on TripAdvisor.
