About the host

The estate was created in 1895 in the form of the wine institution for Alsace and Lorraine, created by the city of Colmar following the phylloxera crisis. In 1924, the city of Colmar acquired the Clos Saint-Jacques vines. It was in 1980 that this place became the Colmar wine estate. Today, the estate extends over 40 hectares of vines spread across different communes. We welcome you to the estate for visits and tastings, as well as for food/wine pairing activities.

The tasting was well appreciated. The visit was pleasant, but having visited other cellars in other regions, a little limited. However, it remains a pleasant experience and a good time shared around the good Alsatian wines.
