Located in Villeneuve, a vineyard within the Chablais Vaudois region, Domaine Bertholet is a family business run by Christophe Bertholet, an independent winemaker, who offers wines made entirely from his own grapes.
You are welcome to visit our cellar or our vineyards.
Cave Bertholet has been a family-run winery for several generations. We cellar the grapes from the La Muraz vineyards, situated on the mid-slope above Villeneuve.
60% of our production is dedicated to Chasselas (including Chasselas aged in acacia barrels) and 40% to Pinot Noir – from which we produce "Pinot Noir aged in oak barrels" and "Rosé" – as well as a small production of Sauvignon Blanc (also available as the sparkling "Bubulle") and Gamay.
We cultivate just over 3 hectares of vines using integrated production methods (ecologically) with traditional goblet and Guyot training systems, producing between 35,000 and 40,000 bottles per year.
Our wines are guaranteed free of any blending or oak chips.
All the wines we sell are Chablais Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC).
We grow our own grapes, make our own wines, and sell them directly.
