About the winery

Bodegas Carchelo is a family-run winery founded in 1990 and located in Jumilla, at the foot of the Sierra del Carche Regional Park. It was established with the aim of expressing the identity of this region through its wines, with Monastrell as the flagship variety. We practice organic viticulture, respecting the characteristics of the landscape and the unique character of each vineyard. The winery is situated in a tranquil rural setting, surrounded by mountains and the dry, sun-drenched landscapes typical of southeastern Spain. As a working winery, visitors can tour the actual facilities where we produce, age, and bottle our wines. Our experimental vineyard offers a close-up look at different varieties and allows visitors to understand how climate, soil, and cultivation influence the final product. Carchelo combines family tradition, technical expertise, and a personal approach to sharing the wine culture of Jumilla.
