The interior houses huge vats to accommodate the crops. But the highlight of the show is below, at the end of a steep staircase. A cellar of disproportionate height is revealed!
The wines of the Faiveley estate are simply delicious in white as in red. The Mercurey de la Framboisière wines are juicy, crunchy and indulgent, while the wines from the Côte d'Or and the Côte de Nuits are elegant, often powerful, distinguished and always perfectly balanced. Among the most famous cuvées are: Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru La Combe d'Orveaux, Gevrey Chambertin Les Cazetiers, Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru and especially the Clos des Cortons Faiveley Grand Cru – the house's monopoly.
