About the winery
Quinta de Santo António de Adorigo, situated in the stunning Douro region, is a historical and wine-growing treasure nestled in the hills near Peso da Régua. With old vines of 38 Douro grape varieties planted in 1955, Quinta de Adorigo reflects the region's rich viticulture. In 2019, under the leadership of Joaquim Fernandes – an enthusiast of old Port wines and the breathtaking Douro landscape – we began a new chapter combining tradition, innovation, and sustainability. The new winery, built in 2023, was a significant milestone in our history, allowing for the more efficient production of high-quality wines.

Meet the team
In the heart of Cima Corgo, with a privileged view over the Douro River, Quinta de Adorigo is a family project that combines tradition, authenticity, and sustainability. With origins dating back to 1755, the estate was acquired by the Fernandes family in 2019, who gave it new life and purpose through a contemporary and responsible approach to Douro viticulture.
