Surrounded by forests and nestled in a pristine valley of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the estate enjoys an unspoiled environment, far from roads and in the heart of nature.
A family estate for three generations, shortly after taking over the property in the 1970s, Gérard Bungener converted the entire estate to organic farming. The Clos thus became one of the first vineyards in the region to obtain official organic certification in 1989. No pesticides or synthetic products have been used in its vineyards or cellar for nearly 50 years.
