Meet the team

1142, date of the first reference to the property. By deed of sale to the Cistercian Monks. Incidentally, it was the first to be purchased by this Order, which is why some historians say it is the place where wine with Port wine characteristics originated. The property has been in the family for six generations. From planting the vine to bottling, it is a long process carried out by the owner, João Girão de Azeredo.
