Château La Confession
The seven and a half hectares of hillside vineyards form the clay-limestone terroir of Château La Confession. During the harvest, one appreciates the contrast between the cool, calm mornings and the bustle of the cellars and the sounds of the vines. In winter, one is drawn by the scent of vine shoots smoking in the fireplace, lit to enhance a rib of beef and potatoes baked in foil… the blue holly motifs on the Crey earthenware dishes recall the label of the bottle opened earlier, a nod to the 1855 Universal Exhibition, or simply a beautiful setting for the anticipated meal. A Confession is to be savored and enjoyed in the comfort of a high chair by the fireside.
