This beautiful adventure begins in September 2016 with the dos Santos family’s return to their ancestral home and the discovery of eight hectares of land in Lagoa, lying nestled between the picturesque villages of Carvoeiro and Ferragudo.
In February 2018, after much clearing and construction we proudly opened our doors, offering three hectares of new vines and one hectare of young olives planted amongst existing almond, carob, cork and age-old olive trees, all of which have been carefully preserved.
Charming canals, which formed an ancient aqua-duct system were a surprising discovery but were in a state of disrepair. Using local stone, these are now fully restored together with the old, crumbling stone walls.
The estate today is home to contemporary buildings, lovingly imbued with a sense of age and place, offering views overlooking the vineyards, surrounded by beautiful, exposed limestone walls and segmented by cobbled drainage channels.
Expansive and peaceful, Quinta dos Santos has quickly become a popular venue offering a unique experience in Algarve.
