In this experience, you will be able to immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of Tenute Baglio Passofondo, an oasis of peace just a few kilometers from Trapani and Palermo.

An all-Sicilian experience amidst scents and traditions.

We will learn to knead flour from ancient Sicilian grains to make a soft pizza to be baked in a lava stone oven.

In Sicily, the ancient original recipe changes and transforms as you move along the coast from west to east. The raw materials and ingredients adapt to the locations, expressing their tradition and connection to the territory: anchovies, tomato sauce, which is sometimes replaced by cherry tomatoes, local cheese which can be tuma, caciocavallo, or pecorino; in short, we will taste some of the typical flavors of the Sicilian culinary tradition.

Tenute Baglio Passofondo is a winery in the heart of western Sicily, nestled in the hills of Alcamo, where tradition, nature, and hospitality meet to offer authentic experiences. Surrounded by vineyards, centuries-old olive groves, and a breathtakingly beautiful Mediterranean landscape, the estate invites guests to discover the region through wine and local culture. Our wine experiences include guided tours of the vineyards and historic baglio, wine tastings paired with traditional Sicilian specialties, and tours dedicated to discovering native grape varieties. Guests can also participate in traditional cooking classes, walking or cycling tours of the vineyards, and experience firsthand the history and agricultural practices that characterize our estate. Each experience is designed to create an authentic connection with the land, showcasing the flavors, aromas, and traditions of Sicily.
