Quinta São João Batista is located in the Natural Biosphere Reserve of Paul do Boquilobo, recognized by Unesco since 1981 as a World Biosphere Reserve. It encloses a centuries-old history well represented in the colonial-style manor house, which also includes an architectural complex with excellent cellars for wine aging (with 585 barrels, one of the largest in the Tagus region), a traditional wine cellar and a modern wine-making center . It has a total area of about 145 hectares, of which 130 hectares are vineyards.

In 2022, the commitment to Enotourism intensifies, with an eye also on Religious Tourism, given the proximity to the Sanctuary of Fátima. Aware of the lack of complementary offers in the region, Quinta de S. João Batista dedicates special attention to this segment, trying to attract tourists to a parallel program where it is possible to enjoy a very varied offer.

With a unique and typically Ribatejo environment, the space coexists in harmony with the natural habitat. There are 145 Hectares of Animal Life Sanctuary – it preserves the various game species present, where partridges, storks and hares stand out.
