About the host

In the heart of the Saint Chinian Appellation lies a hidden treasure. It's the wine Cellar of Château Castigno.
This architectural masterpiece, shaped in the form of a wine bottle and completely covered in cork, is a must see in the region.
The wine cellar is dedicated to produce some of the finest wines in Languedoc, and to let you explore the wonderful world of wine.
From guided visits to personalised tastings and from wine blending sessions to 4x4 Safaris, we have everything you need, to let you discover our outstanding organic Domaine.

The cellar is situated at 2 km from the village of Assignan which harbours the Village Castigno, a hotel like no other, completely integrated in the village of Assignan.
Stroll through the streets and immerse yourself in the everyday life of the people of Assignan. Enjoy lunch in our Bistro "La petite Table" or book a table in our gastronomic restaurant " La Table", rewarded with one star in the Guide Michelin. In the mood for something more exotic? Reserve your table at "Le Thaï" and enjoy the wonderful flavours of Asia.
