About the host
Founded in 1811 in Avize by Charles Gabriel de Cazanove, Maison Charles de Cazanove is one of the oldest Champagne houses still in operation. In the 19th century, it established itself at the Imperial Court of Russia and became a recognized supplier to European aristocratic tables, before moving to Reims where it now crafts its cuvées.
The house opens its Reims cellars to share two centuries of Champagne history: discover blending methods, aging on laths, and tasting of cuvées that express the three Champagne grape varieties.
