Visit Herdade da Comporta and delight in discovering the region's grape varieties and our quality wines. Come and enjoy an experience inside the Sado Estuary Natural Reserve and visit the winery, where your guide will explain the winemaking process and complement it with a tasting of 4 wines (white, rosé, and red) from our Private Selection. Whites that express the sea and the land at the same time, with acidity and minerality on the palate, surprisingly fresh and elegant Rosés, and Reds that do justice to our forest, with ripe black fruits on the nose and elegance on the palate.

About the host
Herdade da Comporta is one of the largest agricultural properties in Portugal, located south of the Tróia Peninsula with a nine-kilometer Atlantic coastline and bordered to the north by the Sado River estuary. The property spans over eleven thousand hectares, where sandy soils combined with proximity to the sea create a unique location for vineyards and wine production.
Amidst the sandy lands dotted with the sea, the songs of sunrise mark the beginning of the harvest. Traditional men and women carefully select and cut the grape bunches, ensuring the quality of the product that arrives at our winery.
With a minimalist production style, the entire process is rigorously controlled to guarantee the full varietal component of our varieties. Some of our wines are aged for long periods on fine lees to enhance their complexity and personality, which distinguishes and elevates the wine quality of Adega da Herdade da Comporta.
