Venta d’Aubert is an organic winery founded in the 1980s in the heart of the unexpected Matarraña region, in Teruel, Aragon.

Venta d’Aubert is a reinterpretation of the heritage of a Venta—historically, a meeting and convergence place—that serves as a platform for winemakers to capture a unique interpretation of the monumental landscape with each bottle. Located next to the impressive Puertos de Tortosa-Beceite Natural Park, the winery works with two guest winemakers, Stefan Dorst and César Fernández Díaz, who are given complete creative freedom at the winery.

Venta d’Aubert’s distinct and high-quality range of wines encompasses a multitude of visions and styles. They undergo long and short macerations and are aged in both stainless steel and European oak. All wines are united by the winery’s artisanal and biodynamic practices and by the unique dialogue of each wine with the monumental simplicity of the landscape.

As responsible for overseeing 18 hectares of small-scale vineyards—certified organic since 2013—as well as 200 hectares of oak forest and surrounding olive groves, the Venta d'Aubert team has been working for decades to preserve the land's biodiversity and promote the regeneration of the clay-limestone soils using regenerative agriculture principles, which lend breadth and tension to all the wines.
