About the host
A Tuscan jewel and ancient Medici residence, with its Villa La Ferdinanda, a UNESCO heritage site, it is a refuge where widespread hospitality blends with authentic flavours, generous wines and unique experiences.
A hidden treasure that becomes an oasis of the soul.
Nestled among the rolling Tuscan hills and the Montalbano vineyards, a timeless jewel is hidden, witness to an ancient and noble history: Tenuta di Artimino. At the center of this generous land, rich in culture and tradition, stands the majestic Villa Medicea “La Ferdinanda“, also known as the Villa dei Cento Camini, a residence of austere elegance and unparalleled charm, created by the architectural genius of Bernardo Buontalenti at the behest of Grand Duke Ferdinando I de’ Medici in 1596.
Positioned on a hill that was already considered sacred in Etruscan times, the villa is a symbol of power and refinement, born as a hunting lodge and transformed into a place of culture, art and leisure for the Medici court.
