Guided tour of the Bairrada Space in Curia with aroma game and tasting of 2 single-varietal wines

On a visit to the old Curia train station, put your senses to the test in a game that will take you on a journey of memories and recollections. In the room where those traveling in 3rd class waited for the train, relax on the same bench where these people used to sit and explore our aroma wheel. Here, each grape variety is characterized by 3 different aromas.
Smell, feel and guess the aroma that each bottle contains. Get to know each grape variety better and the profile of the wines it can create in Bairrada.

About the host

Bairrada is still a “secret” region, but it has great potential for wine tourism, nature tourism, cultural tourism, gastronomy and family trips. Our location could not be better: Between Porto and Lisbon, we combine Bairrada wine tourism with the Atlantic breeze. As part of the region, we also have two iconic destinations, Aveiro, the “Portuguese Venice”, and Coimbra, a university city, full of history and traditions.

Rota da Bairrada is not just a tourist destination – it is your partner in creating authentic and unique experiences!
We are a non-profit association, whose main objective is to promote the region. We have more than 100 members, including wineries, wineries and wine producers, restaurants, accommodation, and tourist entertainment companies, so that we can provide a complete and personalized experience in the region.
