In this unique experience, we will take you on an unforgettable journey through the heart of the Douro aboard a traditional Rabelo boat. Unlike other tours, this one combines authenticity, tradition, and a welcoming atmosphere, all while enjoying stunning landscapes and local flavors. We start with a warm reception by the river, with a brief presentation on the history of the Rabelo boats and the Douro culture.

We offer an initial toast with regional wine to welcome you, creating a relaxed and familiar atmosphere. At Sublimado Douro, we sail on a traditional boat known as Rabelo, going up the river and admiring the most beautiful landscapes until the sun sets in a dazzling spectacle of colors. Throughout the tour, enjoy the views while savoring our wines and typical regional snacks prepared with care for you.

About the host

Located between the Castle of Numão and the sublime Douro of Miguel Torga, Quinta da Vineadouro is a centuries-old property with unique characteristics in the Douro Superior region, whose aim is to recover old vineyards and produce premium and exclusive wines. Belonging to the same family for over 250 years and after 7 generations, the current heirs represent two generations associated with the destiny of this estate. Our centuries-old vineyards contribute to unique and highly complex wines. We use sustainable viticulture and produce wines with minimal intervention to recover the ancient aromas and flavors of the region. More than 22 grape varieties are blended in a typical Douro field blend. We have white, claret and red wines available. In addition to the wines, we also have olive oil extracted from olives from the region's valleys. Our philosophy is Wines with Identity and a Sense of Place!
