An immersion into the ancient and contemporary history of Novella. We will start by visiting the winery and discovering the techniques and style of Tenuta La Novella, between tradition and innovation, and then dedicate ourselves to tasting the best of our productions, from historical vintages to Vinsanto 1998. The most complete way to get to know and appreciate the evolution of Tenuta La Novella's excellent productions.

About the host
Tenuta la Novella is a winery with a history dating back to the 19th century. The estate has had several lives in different eras. From a watchtower to control the entrance to Florence through the Ema Valley, to a convent of nuns, to a farm and agricultural estate under Napoleon Bonaparte. Tenuta la Novella is located in the heart of Tuscany, between Florence and Siena, at an altitude of 500 meters. The estate produces its olive oil, Chianti Classico and IGT wine, as well as Vin Santo according to the strict standards of organic and biodynamic agriculture, without pesticides or synthetic fertilizers.
Thanks to their passion for the estate, the Schneider Family has allowed a constant evolution at the estate for 25 years. Since 2015, the association with Simone Zemella, technical director and winemaker has moved the estate towards biodynamic agriculture. He is committed to creating wines that reflect the terroirs from which the grapes come.
Every bottle of wine and every bottle of oil that leaves the estate is produced from start to finish at La Novella. Throughout the ages, the estate has cultivated its land in strict accordance with the tradition.
