Visit and tasting
Available in: English,  Spanish
The passion for cultivating vineyards continues in a reinvented urban space that revives a lost historical tradition of making wines in the center of Logroño. The visit begins by locating the setting of the vineyards, the Sierra de Yerga in Rioja Oriental, in addition to a review of the past and present of traditional wine culture. We will discover centuries-old plots and how these vineyards are worked using sustainable and respectful viticulture. Next, we will take a tour of the urban winery's production and aging facilities, focusing on the particularities of artisanal work, aging in clay amphorae, foudres, or barrels. We will also see how we carry out the manual work of labeling and sealing bottles, which is typical of small-production wines. We will finish with a tasting of four wines accompanied by a small appetizer of our own organic olive oil with wood-fired bread. An emotional visit.
