About the host

Château de Malle is a private historical monument built in the 17th century, surrounded by 6.5 hectares of remarkable gardens inspired by Louis XIV's famous creations at Versailles. This Age of Enlightenment has placed the estate among France's rich historical heritage.

The Malle vineyard is a Grand Cru Classé since 1855 and extends over 50 hectares in one continuous block, benefiting from optimal exposure and straddling two prestigious appellations: Graves and Sauternes.

The powerful vineyard, certified in organic agriculture, offers great wines of absolute quality, through a full range of wines (red, white, sparkling, Sauternes).

In 2024, Luc and Clémence Planty are breathing new life into the enhancement of this historical and wine heritage, and are opening the estate to visitors for the very first time, to the delight of families, culture enthusiasts, and lovers of great wines.
