New! It was often difficult to choose between exploring the architectural richness and discovering our emblematic terroir. In 2025, the "combined wine & heritage tour" unveils the many facets of Château de Malle, recognized as a Grand Cru Classé since 1855 and classified as a Historical Monument since 1943.

Throughout your visit, we will raise your awareness of our sustainable and natural philosophy applied to our organically certified vineyard. You will also have the opportunity to discover the historic Malle cellars, as well as the heritage richness of the site, including access to the interior of the château, its rooms steeped in history, and our remarkable gardens.

To conclude, we will organize a tasting of two of our wines, including a glass of our 1855 Grand Cru Classé Sauternes.

About the host

Château de Malle is a private historical monument built in the 17th century, surrounded by 6.5 hectares of remarkable gardens inspired by Louis XIV's famous creations at Versailles. This Age of Enlightenment has placed the estate among France's rich historical heritage.

The Malle vineyard is a Grand Cru Classé since 1855 and extends over 50 hectares in one continuous block, benefiting from optimal exposure and straddling two prestigious appellations: Graves and Sauternes.

The powerful vineyard, certified in organic agriculture, offers great wines of absolute quality, through a full range of wines (red, white, sparkling, Sauternes).

In 2024, Luc and Clémence Planty are breathing new life into the enhancement of this historical and wine heritage, and are opening the estate to visitors for the very first time, to the delight of families, culture enthusiasts, and lovers of great wines.
