The tour includes an immersive walk among the young Primitivo di Manduria vines adjacent to the Masseria, a visit to the office area, a panoramic meeting room overlooking the vineyards, a demonstration of the production area and grape processing machinery. Afterwards, entry into the cellar in the steel tank area, and into the barrel cellar, the most precious area of the winery. You will learn where our best wines are aged in oak barrels, vats, tonneaux, and barriques, in addition to the recent experimentation in ceramic jars specially made by ceramic artisans from Grottaglie. Following this, a visit to the exhibition halls of the historic Masseria building and a tasting of our labels paired with typical local products. The wines included in the tasting are 2 vintage labels and 1 label from our selection. The paired products are local baked goods and dairy products from a local farm with its own livestock.

Masseria Borgo dei Trulli is a farm that has purchased land in the best wine-growing areas of Salento, in particular in the municipalities of Sava, Manduria and Maruggio in the province of Taranto, where it mainly grows Primitivo, Negroamaro, Vermentino, Malvasia Bianca, Fiano, Sauvignon Blanc and in the municipality of Guagnano, in the province of Lecce, where it produces Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera grapes for the Salice Salentino DOC.

Excellent experience! Beautiful modern facilities, state of the art! Lovely wines! Loved the Burt. Would highly recommend visiting. Lots of food served alongside the wine, which was very tasty. The made a big effort to offer gluten free foods for us!
