What is the ideal wine storage temperature? What conditions are necessary for proper aging? At what temperature should wine be served? What type of glass should be used? Is it better to decant the wine? For how long?

Following a guided tour of the Dome, this workshop offers answers through a comparative tasting approach: a freshly opened wine versus a decanted wine, the impact of glass selection, storage and serving tips, whether the wine is from a recent or old vintage.

About the host

No need for blending to make things happen. While Bordeaux tradition dictates blending grapes from different vineyard plots, Le Dôme expresses the notion of terroir in its purest sense: it's a single-plot wine. The terroir of Le Dôme has a real identity and its own personality, and we strive to showcase them. The result is a wine with a character as rare as its production.

With no space to spare, we plant our new vines, which are grafted and raised among their ancestors, right in the middle of our old vines. In this way, we preserve the DNA of previous generations while keeping the spirit of Le Dôme alive for future generations.
