Located between the provinces of Cuenca and Toledo, Finca Antigua was a true love at first sight for the Martínez Bujanda family. Seeking to diversify their winemaking network, they traveled the country in search of unique vineyards with personality, until they settled on Los Hinojosos, 1 hour 30 minutes from Madrid. The town, part of the Don Quixote Route, forms a landscape of windmills and farmland, encompassing the 421 hectares of vineyards—an instant hit for the family.
Surrounded by Mediterranean forest, holm oaks, and aromatic plants, the Finca Antigua vineyard is located at an altitude of over 900 meters and is divided into up to 40 different plots, where different grape varieties are grown and harvested separately. Its limestone soil and extreme winter temperatures are what give its wines their distinctive character.
The incredible natural beauty of the area adds value to the tours offered by Finca Antigua, attracting visitors.
