Cantos Visit

Finca Valpiedra is one of the 5 wineries belonging to Familia Martinez Bujanda. The company is currently run by its 4th generation, siblings Carlos and Pilar, and the 5th, their children, Adrián and Marta respectively. It is one of the most historic winemaking families in La Rioja, whose origins stem from working in the vineyards, and who, after starting with their first winery, became winemakers. Generation after generation, they have settled in the best wine-growing areas of the national territory.

The winery was founded in 1999. It is an 80-hectare estate of vineyards divided into 3 natural terraces that rest in a meander of the Ebro River in the heart of Rioja Alta. We follow the philosophy of "Pago", a concept better known as "Château": the grapes from our single vineyard are exclusively used for the production of the 4 wines that we market at the winery: Finca Valpiedra Reserva, our main reference and a true reflection of our terroir; Cantos de Valpiedra Crianza, a fresh, fruity and sweet wine; and 2 limited edition wines: Petra de Valpiedra, a 100% Garnacha (5,500 bottles) and Finca Valpiedra Blanco Reserva (1,200 bottles), all identified with the stony soil that characterizes the estate and that conditions, together with the unique microclimate, the profile of our wines.
