Domaine Fourrey is located in the heart of the Chablis vineyard in Milly, it cultivates 26 hectares of vines.
It is made up of 4 levels of appellation:
• Bourgogne Pinot Noir
• Petit Chablis
• Chablis
• Chablis Premier Cru:
o Côte de Lechet
o Vaillons
o Fourchaume
o Mont de Milieu
o Les Fourneaux
• Chablis Grand Cru
o Valmur
The estate has existed for at least 4 generations, and is passed down from father to son. Since 1992, Jean-Luc Fourrey has taken over the Estate after obtaining a Higher Technician diploma in Viticulture Oenology at the Lycée Viticole de Beaune.
An independent winemaker, Domaine Fourrey has been certified as a “High Environmental Value” level 3 estate since the 2017 vintage. The wines regularly receive awards in international magazines. The estate combines respect for traditions with more modern techniques in order to reveal the intrinsic characteristics of Chardonnay.
