About the host

At the entrance to the city, you can admire its clear tendrils rising to a height of 24 metres,
which recall the winding of the vine around the trellises. An unprecedented combination of bio-sourced materials and virtuosity of local technique, the architectural feat all in transparency, carried out in the capital of Burgundy wines, welcomes the Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne. This City embodies the history, know-how and heritage of the entire Burgundy wine region. The Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne in Beaune hosts the main interpretation centre of the Climats of the Burgundy Vineyard. Within the tour route, a space is dedicated to this model of terroir viticulture, whose historical cradle is located in Côte d'Or, but radiates throughout Burgundy.
