The Calatayud region is one of the best areas in the world for growing red Grenache, or at least that's what its owner thinks, a Belgian who fell in love with this land and decided to settle there. An extreme climate, slate soils and a wind called cierzo, are some of the extreme conditions that make this area special, producing an intense Grenache. On this visit you will be able to discover what makes this area special and you will be able to taste some village and/or plot wines.
As garachafreaks that we are, we have a collection in which you can find everything from a Grenache sparkling wine to a wine in which France and Spain are in a single bottle.
But we won't just talk about this variety, with the Raíces collection you will find some native Spanish varieties that are difficult to find.
After touring the winery explaining all these concepts, we will finish with a tasting accompanied by local sausages. We look forward to seeing you!
