The Calatayud DO is characterised by its red Grenache, which stands out for its intensity thanks to the extreme climate and slate soils of the region. In our winery you will be able to learn what makes Calatayud special and, in addition, you will discover several of the many indigenous varieties of Spain.
As you tour the winery, we will tell you the history of wine in the area and how a Belgian decided to settle here, in love with this land. We will show you the different wines we produce, and you will be able to learn more about some of the more than 70 indigenous varieties that exist in the country.
Of course, we will also tell you about Grenache, the main grape of the region, and compare it with Grenache from other places. At the end of the visit, you will be able to taste our wines and better understand the origin of this project.
