About the experience
2-8 persons
Learn about the particularities of this vineyard and the organic viticulture processes used to obtain the desired quality for the Izadi El Regalo wine. On the same estate, next to the hermitage that protects it, you will enjoy the tasting of Izadi Blanco, made from the vines located at the head of the vineyard, accompanied by Idiazábal cheese.
This experience continues in the winery with a light walk among the barrels, concluding with the tasting of the Izadi El Regalo wine paired with a tapa in the same room where it is aged. A complete experience from the vine to the glass.
What's included
About the host
Villabuena de Álava, where part of the family was already linked to the world of viticulture, was the town chosen to build an innovative winery focused on the production of quality wines. Gonzalo Antón's extensive knowledge of hospitality and catering led him to create a wine, Izadi, which soon became one of the most appreciated in the world of gastronomy. At the same time, the incorporation of new production techniques and his great desire for continuous improvement managed to create his own style that was consolidated over time.
In 2000, the incorporation of his son, Lalo Antón, into the company promoted sales abroad, as well as the expansion of the company, which, under the name of Artevino, tackles the projects of Finca Villacreces (D.O. Ribera del Duero), Bodegas Vetus (D.O. Toro) and Orben (D.O.Ca. Rioja).
The commitment to quality, the connection to gastronomy and the attachment to the land are the fundamental pillars on which Bodegas Izadi is based.
