During this visit, we will present the history of the Château de Corneilla, dating from the 13th century and built by the Templars, and belonging to the same family since the 14th century. The Jonquères d'Oriola family is also very linked to the world of horse riding as you will discover.
We will also explain the different terroirs of Roussillon in which our estate is located, our sustainable agricultural method, as well as the different appellations that make up our wines.
Finally, you will enjoy a commented tasting of our wines in the sales cellar just opposite the château. From 5 to 7 wines are to be discovered during this tasting.

The Château de Corneilla del Vercol is an essential place of Catalan cultural and historical heritage. The Jonquères d’Oriola family, owners of the place since 1485, produces exceptional wines there. Today, William Jonquères d’Oriola has taken over the reins of the Château, and represents the 27th generation of winemakers within the estate.
The estate also produces organic olive oil in addition to the 21 wines (red, rosé, white and natural sweet wines) on six different appellations. Thanks to this varied and qualitative production, the château is regularly rewarded at major national and international competitions.
All the wines are labeled HVE 3, and we make it a point of honor to develop reasoned and sustainable agriculture for generations to come.
