During a personalized tour of the vineyard, you will discover the characteristics of our soils, the typicality of the grape varieties and our technical installations.
You will also have the privilege of tasting the last vintage during maturation, taken directly from the barrel.
This workshop offers you an interactive approach to tasting, discovering the influence of oak on the aromatic and taste complexity of our wines. Selection of coopers, wood species, types of toasting, barrel manufacturing techniques... A unique experience!

About the host

Château Sansonnet, a renewal!
Ideally located a few steps from the medieval city, Château Sansonnet dominates the clay-limestone plateau of Saint-Emilion, an exceptional terroir. The vineyard extends over 7 hectares, in one piece, around the Château.
The operating buildings were completely renovated in 2023. Our wines are now vinified in a new vat room, equipped with cutting-edge technology and designed to encourage single-plot work. Aging in barrels, tuns and amphoras continues in the fully restored cellars.
To meet the expectations and curiosity of each visitor, we have imagined two different workshops.
