Private Wine Tasting at Vineyard From Krakow

The range of wines made in Malopolska is wide and varied. In addition to classic white, red and rose wines - dry or semi-dry - the region also produces successful sweet and sparkling wines. Malopolska's winemakers are also experimenting a lot. Recently, their offerings have included, for example, long-accented white wines (the so-called "amber" or "orange" wines, which are currently very fashionable in the world), as well as "natural" wines, produced without added sulfur. More and more wineries are switching to organic farming methods, and the first biodynamic vineyards have also already appeared. Malopolska is currently the leading region in our country in terms of the number of wineries. At least 200 such plantations have been established here so far (it's hard to count them all), with as many as 90 of them running registered commercial operations. This is the largest number of all Polish provinces. The situation is changing rapidly, however, as quite a few new vineyards are planted every year, and more and more existing ones are starting to sell their wine. The quality of Malopolska's wines has also improved significantly over the past few years. Today they are already widely appreciated by both consumers and wine professionals, including those from abroad.
