We look forward to seeing you with a vertical tasting of 3 vintages of Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, 2013, 2011 and 2009, with accompanying appetizers and a visit to the winery.
A leap into the past to savor very structured and surprisingly fresh wines.
A “vertical” tasting is defined as one during which different vintages of the same wine from the same producer are tasted in sequence.
This particular type of approach has two objectives: to evaluate its quality and to verify the evolution undergone by the wine over time. During a vertical you can proceed in two opposite ways: starting with the tasting from the oldest wine to arrive at the youngest or vice versa. Usually the latter is the preferred method, going back in years, so that taste and smell, after appreciating the captivating simplicity of the younger vintages, can better grasp the complex evolution of the older ones.

About the host

The “Vigne del Malina” are born where two streams, the Malina and the Ellero, certainly not by chance, have drawn a chalice shape. An alluvial soil with unique characteristics and microclimate, ideal not for large quantities but for great quality. The right place to create wine, as we like it.
Our wines are born on an estate of 150 hectares, of which the vines occupy only a limited part. Thus the vineyard, with low ecological impact, breathes and enjoys biodiversity and the continuous manual interventions of man, since we have excluded any herbicide.
We are in an alluvial soil with a unique microclimate, characterized by a notable temperature range and constant ventilation, due to the outlet of the pre-Alpine valleys.
Our values are based on simplicity: good, clean and very varied wines, to return to the origins, to the taste, to the aroma, to the structure and above all to the particular character that distinguishes each vine. A simplicity that for many will be a great discovery.
