About the host
For the development of our "base solera" we used the small solera of Los Palitos and others that were selected and acquired from different firms in the area: Williams&Humbert, Sandeman, González Byass, Bodegas Alfonso Lacave Ruiz-Tagle... Although, without Without a doubt, the fundamental part was the one acquired from Don Alejandro Romero Osborne, whose origins date back to 1936, and which turned out to be a great find, both for its age and its exceptional quality.
Thus began the journey of this firm in the production, breeding and marketing of Sherry vinegar; a business unprecedented until then, since, despite the exceptional characteristics that this product has always had, its use was limited to winery owners, family members and acquaintances.
However, since 1977, we have also experimented with atypical wines for the Jerez region: Viña Lucía was the first bottled Crianza red wine from the region, and Tierra Blanca is an overcooked Andalusian white wine, which also has a semi-sweet variant.
We have also launched the Doña Pepa product line, made up of a wide range of balsamic sauces and cooking wine.
Cheers!
