With friends, colleagues, or family, share a friendly moment in the heart of the vineyard. With the help of a roadbook and an investigator's kit (clues and tools), discover the history of Château de Portets as told by the people who lived there.

As you explore, you'll encounter the Barons de Gascq, Napoleon I, and many mysterious characters...

Form your teams, answer questions, decipher QR codes and puzzles to progress along the trail and help us find the precious stones!

You will be rewarded with a tasting of the estate's wines (fruit juice for children) accompanied by pâté and wine confit made with our vintages.

About the host

In the heart of the Graves, the Château de Portets combines oenological discovery, historical visit and beauty of the landscapes!

The Château de Portets has remarkable architecture, in the Renaissance style, with its stone terrace overlooking the vineyard and the Garonne. Recognized for its architecture (classified as a Historic Monument), as well as for the quality of its welcome (winner "Best of Wine Tourism 2024"), the Château de Portets is located 25 km south of Bordeaux, in the heart of the Graves vineyard. For its red wines, the Château relies on its thirty hectares of vines distributed 55% in Merlot and 45% in Cabernet Sauvignon. The white wines are made from 5 hectares of vines with 60% Sémillon, 30% Sauvignon and 10% Muscadelle.

Very dynamic in terms of wine tourism, the Château de Portets created a 400 m2 space in 2015 with the aim of offering an atypical wine tour (scenography space, seminar room, tasting space, catering area, shop, etc.). The site is suitable for all types of people (individuals, groups, schools, disabled people, etc.).

Easily accessible by train (TER 44 from Bordeaux St Jean), Château de Portets is just 30 minutes by car from Bordeaux (via A62 towards Toulouse).

A great experience!! An escape game suitable for young and old. The setting is magnificent, and the terrace offers an absolutely marvelous panorama. The welcome upon our arrival and throughout the visit was very pleasant. I highly recommend it.
