Located 5 km from the city of Viseu, this wine farm has a vast history that dates back to the 18th century, along with the Casa de Treixedo in Viseu, properties of the Viscount of Treixedo, a prominent member of a family of nobles from the province. This project consistently assimilates wine production, wine tourism, gardens and accommodation, important for the Viseu region.
With around 8.5 hectares of vineyards, it also houses the chapel of Nossa Senhora dos Escravos, founded in 1660, a heritage testimony to the history of Portugal in the 17th century.
In geometrically shaped garden spaces, which take us back to the bucolic past, visitors will be able to observe and feel the aroma of brightly colored plants, the continuous chirping of the birds that inhabit it, and glimpse the size and beauty of the trees, some of which are centuries old.
