Adega do Vulcão's wines are born in the splendid natural setting of the Azores archipelago, on the islands of Pico and Faial. Rare and precious, they are produced from native grape varieties with a strong character, full of history and suggestions. They tell many fascinating stories, conveying and enhancing the uniqueness, variety, and beauty of the islands that generated them. They are appreciated by anyone who loves and respects authentic wines, the humanity, and the history behind the label.
The wine tasting at Adega do Vulcão takes place in the ancient Solar Terra Brum, on the island of Pico, in the heart of the UNESCO area, in one of the most beautiful and iconic places in the history of viticulture in the archipelago. The visit lasts about an hour and includes a tour of the garden and part of the Solar's old production facilities.
We only have premium wines, and to accompany the tasting, we offer our guests water, crackers, and small tapas of local cheeses.
