Pagnana is located just 15 km from Florence, among the gentle landscapes of the Chianti hills of Florence, almost at the northern limit of the area famous for its wines throughout the world, but which the founder of oenology Emile Peynaud defines as "more qualitative because it al confine" of the denomination, and therefore the maximum expression of Chianti.
We are located at an altitude between 200 and 250 meters above sea level: about 30 hectares of vineyards, characterized by a good temperature range
and a variety of lands facing east/south-east, and approximately 40 hectares of olive groves, as well as fields and woods for a total of 240 hectares.
The production of wine and oil is part of the cultural tradition of this area and in Pagnana it is managed by the Breschi family who, for 50 years now, have been committed to producing quality labels, working the land with sustainable agriculture and oenology
attentive to modern practices, not stereotyping and respectful of the identity of the area and the pedoclimatic characteristics.
In recent years there are three women of the family, three generations compared, who are committed to instilling a more feminine sap that knows how to look to the past, enhancing the aspects that have distinguished Pagnana over the years: love for the land,
tradition and innovation.
The agricultural activity is accompanied by a thriving accommodation offer: a "widespread" Agriturismo and one of the most romantic wedding locations in the Tuscan hills.
