A sensory dive into the heart of Eric and Nadine Lévêque's grape varieties.

In a typical Champagne cellar, come and awaken all your senses, around different workshops related to wine.

This space allows a playful approach totally dedicated to the culture of the vine and wine

On one side, you will taste salty and sweet, sour, bitter, umami ice cubes, in order to discover these tastes. On the other hand, you will discover the smells of raw materials (cloves, cinnamon, star anise, nutmeg); then you will have to recognize the different shapes of wine glass according to their region of production, etc.

It's fun, friendly and above all sometimes reveals our weakness in exploiting our senses. This is an experience of about an hour, with the challenge of obtaining the most positive answers on a sheet like a competition.

About the host

Winemaker in the Marne Valley, I represent the 5th generation of a family estate located between Château-Thierry and Epernay. The northernmost wine region, it is the closest to Paris and Belgium.

In Barzy Sur Marne, south of the Aisne, the grape varieties are Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay.
Passionate about my job, I am committed to helping you discover my beautiful region and its product, the emblematic champagne.

The host was very nice and tried his best to speak in English and Dutch. The place was very beautiful and tidy. The workshop was something fun and different. The tasting was delicious and interesting. We definitely recommend this place!
