About the host
Umbria is a land to be traveled slowly, letting yourself be enchanted by the sweetness and harmony typical of its landscapes: centuries-old vineyards and olive groves, medieval villages and corners of mysticism. In Cannara, where the Di Filippo winery is located, and in particular in the locality of Pian D’arca, Brother Francesco chose the place for the preaching to the birds. Here is the philosophy of life of the Di Filippo family, respecting the surrounding environment, responds to this territorial harmony. Cannara is part of a natural tourist itinerary of Umbria: home of the famous chef Angelo Paracucchi, it is also the "mother" of typical onion-based dishes and popular traditions. Among the riches of Cannara, the delightful medieval village of Collemancio. Rich in views and a spectacular viewpoint over Spello and Assisi, the village today is increasingly animated to welcome the curious visitor to Umbria.
