Château du Cléray is located in Vallet, in the heart of the Nantes vineyard.
The castle, built in 1843, time when the artchitecture style was spreading in the Sèvre et Maine area, is one of the oldest and biggest property of the vineyard. The castle and its vaulted cellar are a beautiful example of this trend, reminder of the mediterranean building codes.
The vineyard expands over 95 hectares, planted with Melon de Bourgogne, folle blanche, chardonnay and sauvignon.

A very warm welcome at Château du Cléray. First, a very interesting tour of the estate and cellars, with explanations about the vines, the harvest, the work carried out, the château, and the family. Then, enjoy a tasting in good company! Thank you.
