Gain the keys to understanding and discover the specific characteristics of these prestigious wines through tasting different wines! This session aims to teach you more about the Mâconnais vineyards, how to taste wine, and how to describe the different aspects and sensations experienced during this workshop.
Schedule:
– Guided tour of the vineyard (explanations of vineyard work);
– Explanation of the pyramidal system of appellations in Burgundy and the concept of Climat (history of Burgundy wine);
– Landscape interpretation (a characteristic panorama of the Haut-Mâconnais and its vineyards);
– Guided tour of the winery (explanations of the winemaking process);
– Tasting of different wines from the Domaine and other winemakers. We will taste various vintages to apply tasting methodology.
